Welcome To South Shore Summer Theatre

Our vision is to inspire young people to be creative, curious, respectful, and compassionate artists and to provide artistic leadership that is valued in our community.

The objective of the program is to foster youth participation in a professional level musical theatre production and develop artists who will gain a lifelong passion for the arts while contributing to the cultural scene on the South Shore.

President

Shane studied theatre in the BFA Acting program at FSU and musical theatre performance at Sheridan College, and has 30+ years of experience in youth theatre programs in Canada and Mexico.  More…

Assistant Vocal/Director

Iain is a Haligonian artist working in theatre and game design. They studied Intermedia at NSCAD, puppetry at the Bread and Puppet Theatre, and Vocal Preformance at Mount Allison.  More…

Get Involved

The amazing thing about these productions is that we often start with a bunch of young people with little or no acting, singing and dancing experience, and over the course of a couple of months, we turn them into stars.  Lifelong friendships are formed, and they tell us the happy memories never fade.
