The Mahone Bay Centre
The majority of South Shore Summer Threatre’s fundraising events and rehearsals, take place at the beautiful and historic Mahone Bay School, now known as the Mahone Bay Centre.
The Mahone Bay School was constructed in 1914 and operates as an educational centre to this day. In the year 2000, a group of visionary citizens saw an exciting opportunity that sought to not only preserve this historic building but to establish a vibrant community centre for the active and lively town of Mahone Bay.
